An attempt to break the 2022 Guinness World Record set at Old Warden. 2024 is June 1st at Leicester Airport

About the Event – Please note we have moved the location of the Record Breaker
To move this event further North and to increase the opportunities for more Pilots to join in, Leicester Airport have agreed the the British Rotorcraft Association can host the next Gyro Guinness Record Breaker there. The last record set in May 2022 at Old Warden in Bedfordshire stands at 71. This is for the largest recorded number of gyro landings at one UK airfield in one day during an 8 hour period.
Let’s hope the weather is favourable and we look forward to loads of you coming. There will be no landing fee for BRA members on the day and a reduced landing fee of £10.00 for non members. For those that want to camp there will be no charge to camp either. Win win.
