Our usual sponsored event to close our flying season this year will again be the fly in and Camp at Sandown. 4th -5th and 6th September. The event starts on the Friday Night but only for those that can get over then, Saturday will be the full day and Sandown will provide the usual opportunities to eat and drink on at the Bistro or wander off into Sandown to do your own thing. Hopefully we will still be in shorts and T shirts but who knows. We will have another go at the round the island flight with as many gyros flying in loose formation as possible.
If camping is not your thing, Cheverton Copse Caravan Park have usually got some good short stay deals and the premier inn is not to far away either. Fuel and showers are also available and mogas can be got as well.
